Concrete Products
We use Master Builders products to enhance the properties of concrete, including: Polyheed 997 as a mid- range water reducer, Master Glenium 1466 as a high range water reducer, MBAE 200 air entraining admixture, Masterset FP20 as a non chlorinated accelerator, Masterset Delvo as a set retarder, and Masterset VMA as a viscosity modifier.
Admixtures
Dyed Concrete
Colored concrete pavements with patterned-stamped, exposed aggregate or simple broomed finishes are a beautiful and affordable alternative. We are an authorized dealer for Davis Colors. We keep many colors in stock. For specialty colors, it may take a week or more to obtain the dye.
At HCR we use MasterFiber M70, which is engineered specifically to perform as a plastic shrinkage concrete reinforcement. It is not a replacement for structural steel or load-carrying steel reinforcement. Rather, it works as a finishing aid to control crazing/cracking.
We also use MasterFiber Mac Matrix MT61, which replaces welded-wire reinforcement and No. 3 and No. 4 (10 mm and 13 mm) reinforcing bars that are typically used as temperature and shrinkage reinforcement.
Fiber Reinforcement
Flowable fill is a combination of fine aggregates, water, and a small amount of cement. The fill is quite versatile and can be either pumped or poured directly from the truck. It is especially useful for filling utility trenches and back-filling retaining walls.
